2020 NC BikeWalk Summit November 5-6 Online

Registration is now open for the 2020 NC BikeWalk Summit, being held virtually November 5– 6. We are putting together an informative and exciting online. Some terrific speakers are already lined up, and several informative presentations will have you looking at transportation in new ways. The theme this year is Inclusive Transportation. What do we mean when we talk about including everyone—not only by accommodating all with various travel modes but also by ensuring that all groups are represented when decisions are made? We’ll be looking at these questions and more throughout the Summit.

We have the opportunity to reach more people than ever with an online platform, and every registration this year comes with a one-year membership to BikeWalk NC (normally $30), which will allow you to keep up with important developments in the legislature and around the state concerning active transportation. We’ll have opportunities for virtual social gatherings, to see old friends and to make new ones, and of course, we will have a few contests, too. Who should attend? Transit and transportation planners and engineers (we are working to secure credit hours), Vision Zero advocates, NCDOT employees and Board members, fleet operators, elected officials, engineers, bicycle and pedestrian advocates, health practitioners, environmentalists, and economic developers will all find something relevant.

We hope you will join us. To see the preliminary slate of events and to register, visit the Summit Page.
