BikeWalk NC staff and board members continued their conference attendance March 26-27 at the AAA Safe Mobility Conference in Chapel Hill.
The event provided an opportunity for professionals and students from industry, academia, government, and advocacy organizations to connect, share information, and identify challenges, solutions, and best practices geared toward achieving safer mobility for all road users.
Highlights of the conference agenda included workshops on the Promise and Perils of Vehicle Automation on the Road to Safe Mobility and Amplifying Victims Voices, as well as technical sessions on Centering Equity in the Safe Mobility Conversation and Delivering Safe Transportation Systems for All Road Users.
