The holidays and Giving Tuesday are nearly upon us. The rising number of bicyclist and pedestrian fatalities on our streets shows that our work is more important than ever. Over 1700 people died on North Carolina roadways last year, including 180 bicyclists and pedestrians. This does not include those seriously injured on our streets whose lives will never be the same. We are working to reduce that number, to fight for better laws, better infrastructure, and better education for those who use our roads. We are a small organization but we are making an impact.
