To encourage safe cycling and to promote positive interactions between bicyclists and drivers, local riders, bike clubs and various organizations will be hosting the CAPITAL AREA RIDE for SAFETY (CARS) again this year on September 23, 2018. Join us this year for a new, dynamic and interactive ride and experience to be held at Dix Park, as CARS 2018 partners with City of Raleigh Parks, Recreation and Cultural Resources Department. There will be fully supported rides including 30 mile (50K), 60 mile (100k) and Greenway rides. There will also be a kid’s bicycle rodeo, music, food, and some inspiring guest speakers.
