Southeast Raleigh Assembly Bicycle Education Clinic

League Cycling Instructors Jaime Angelero, Scott Lane and Scott Naeser have entered into an agreement to teach Safe Cycling to a year-round group of identified at risk kids, elementary to high school. They are sponsored by the Southeast Raleigh Assembly which is a not for profit educational group that works with kids throughout the area. It is projected to be a long term relationship of education, mentoring and support.

Thanks to Safe Kids of Wake County these children received new helmets. They learned, easily, how to start and stop without wobbling. They learned to scan, give hand signals and negotiate with abundant success the Figure 8 maze. Thanks to all those who donated bicycles so these kids could ride. Thanks to TLC Bicycles of Raleigh for sponsoring us. And thanks to WNCN channel 17 and reporter Bianca Spinosa who covered the event. If you would like to help with teaching or with providing bicycles for these kids, please contact Scott Naeser <snaeser919@gmail.com>.
