Join us for a special screening of the PBS film From Rails to Trails during the 2026 NC BikeWalk Transportation Summit!
On Thursday, September 17, we’ll gather at the Courtyard Carolina Beach Oceanfront for an evening screening exploring the history of rail trails and how communities across the country are turning former railroad corridors into trails. Popcorn will be provided by volunteer Mayor Pro Tem Deb LeCompte from Carolina Beach. Following the film, we’ll have time for a Q&A and conversation about the film, rail trails, and the future of trails in our communities.
