Dr. Kat Dale serves as Safe Routes to School Coordinator for the Town of Winterville and Programs Manager for Oaks & Spokes. A trained data scientist and spatial ecologist, she brings a unique perspective on transportation, mobility, and community resilience and was recognized with the 2025 NC Vision Zero Rising Star Award.
Officer Tiffany Hooker is the Greensboro Police Department’s Traffic Safety Educator—one of only three in North Carolina—and works with students throughout the community to promote bicycle safety, prevent impaired and distracted driving, and advance Vision Zero through education.
Desiree Squire is Education Program Manager at Bike Durham, where she leads bicycle and transportation education programs, including Safe Routes to School initiatives. As a League Certified Instructor, she is dedicated to making active transportation more accessible through education and community partnerships.
