Annalisa is a Master’s student in City and Regional Planning at UNC Chapel Hill, with a concentration in transportation. Annalisa is passionate about seeing active transportation become a safe, equitable, and viable option for communities and is interested in how planners and grassroots advocates work together to achieve this goal. She is a founding member of Brevard Bike Alliance, a group formed in January 2023 to create a safer, more inclusive biking culture for all in Brevard, NC. Annalisa has held a variety of jobs to include six years as a missile maintenance officer in the US Air Force, as well as a cycling skills instructor for elementary school students in New Zealand. Outside of school, Annalisa enjoys exploring her new community by bike, and bringing friends along for the two-wheeled journey. Annalisa is excited to join the board and support BikeWalkNC in its mission to advocate for a safer environment in NC for people-powered transportation.
