Kure Beach, NC
Mo Linquist has served on the Terry Benjey Bicycling Foundation board since 2020. In addition, she currently chairs the Kure Beach Bike Ped Committee and serves as Kure Beach’s town representative on the WMPO Bike Ped Advisory Committee, Mo is dedicated to help her community create safe infrastructure (including completion of the the East Coast Greenway which runs north to south directly through Kure Beach), and dedicated to behavior change, educating vulnerable travelers AND motorists on how to respect each other and move together in a safe and courteous manner.
Her 40 year career as an interior designer and professional feng shui practitioner—specializing in how a space makes one feel—directs her concerns for safety, comfort and accessibility. However, the “grandmother” passion she brings to the BikeWalk NC board is to create a world in which her grandchildren can walk, bike and enjoy nature safely.
