This year’s Summit offers a unique opportunity for attendees to travel to Salisbury by train. The Amtrak station is centrally located in downtown Salisbury and offers five daily arrivals and departures via the Piedmont, Crescent, and Carolinian routes.

Additionally, all trains offer the ability to travel with your bicycle. Baggage cars on the Piedmont trains have five bike racks while the Carolinian and Crescent have six to eight racks, depending on the type of baggage car.
Reservations are required with advanced ticket registration to travel with you bicycle, and fees apply as follows:
Carolinian: $0 for trips between Charlotte and Raleigh
Crescent: $20 per bike
Piedmont: $0 per bike
