House Bill 232, the Bicycle Safety Laws Study Bill was passed by the Senate Thursday, May 22nd and now becomes law. This earlier passage, rather than waiting for an omnibus study bill at the end of session, allows more time for the working group to meet before a final report is due in December. DOT is beginning work on how best to implement the bill.
